Born in Bogota, Colombia
, into a family of creative minds, Sylvie Simhon grew up surrounded by all kinds of music. Beatles, Queen, Michael Jackson, and Pink Floyd records blasted throughout her childhood; as she learned Mozart, Beethoven, and Brahms pieces on the Piano. In a country that seemed to be falling apart, she grew up blissfully oblivious.
She moved to Boston to attend Berklee College of Music, where she explored the Film Scoring and Songwriting fields. She soon discovered that her passion lied somewhere in between.
She graduated with honors, with a Dual Bachelor's Degree in Songwriting and Professional Music (Film Scoring Track).
Currently residing in Los Angeles, Sylvie is involved in multiple projects. She writes music for visual media; provides voiceover services; functions as a freelance music editor; performs her original material around Los Angeles; teaches "Mommy & Me" style music classes; and writes long, autobiographical paragraphs in the third person.
